Wednesday Nighters

Wednesday Nighters is a ladies group which was originally started for the young mothers of the Parish of St John the Divine, Rastrick, around 1970. In the early years a Tufty club, which was for Mums and Toddlers, was started to encourage small children to be aware of the Green Cross Code of Road Safety.

Forty years on the group is still meeting on THE FIRST WEDNESDAY  of most months at 7.30pm in the CONFERENCE SUITE AT THE BACK OF THE CHURCH HALL. We welcome any lady whether a member of a church or not who would like to join us. We are a friendly gang and enjoy a varied programme of events, from talks to walks, chats and meals, and fund raising. Our Programme runs from late February to the following AGM in early February.
